Job Duties Include:
Apply for Medicaid on residents behalf Submitting claims to Medicaid and MCO's in a timely manner to get payment quickly Examining denials and troubleshooting problems Maintain centralized billing files in an organized and consistent manner.
Document process and communications within the billing system on all claims/activities Manages high volume of complex financial data that requires a high volume of accurate data entries and reconciliation Manage accounts receivable billing and collection of payments for all designated payers Notify Community Director of difficult/problem claims Research and Resolve payment discrepancies Monitor resident files for compliance with various program requirements; take appropriate action to secure compliance of the file Coordinate the recertification process of current residents to ensure and document continued eligibility.
Qualify prospective residents, assist current residents with lease renewals, and rent collection.
Maintain accurate and timely leasing reports as required, along with daily Yardi input.
Ensures Compliance with income limits and maximum allowable rent that are imposed by funding sources and regulatory agreements.

Qualifications:
MUST posses a thorough knowledge of the Medi/Medicaid/MCO and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs TCS (Tax Credit Specialist) Certification or equivalent certification from a nationally-recognized compliance training program and experience, or ability and commitment to obtain TCS certification at the next available course offering Strong organizational and follow-up skills Strong attention to detail Ability to handle a high volume of work in a deadline oriented environment Job Type:
