Licensed Clinical Social Worker (14629-394)

Position Summary
Provides case coordination services for adult psychiatric patients. Primary services include Comprehensive Psychiatric Social History, group, individual, and family counseling, and discharge planning. Facilitates the functioning of the multidisciplinary team through the provisions of specific department modalities.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Master of Social Work (MSW) degree/Master of Science (MS)/Master of Arts (MA) in counseling from a school accredited by Council on Social Work Education.
Licensure/Certification/Registry:
Illinois Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker or license eligible with license obtained within six (6) months from date of hire required or Illinois Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor or Licensed Professional Counselor.
Experience:
One to three years supervised experience in psychiatric setting or related field preferred.
Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Working Conditions-Physical Requirements & Atmosphere:
Potential exposure to infectious diseases.
Potential exposure to blood borne pathogens and body fluids.
Potential exposure to aggressive and/or violent behaviors.
Requires ability to assist team members in securing patients who attempt to harm self or others.
Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time, reach, bend, push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
