Information Systems Analyst I - Opt C

Description of Duties/Essential Functions Benefits Supplemental Questions
Under general direction, performs difficult and specialized professional Information Technology work for the Illinois School for the Visually Impaired (ISVI), Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS); organizes, plans, executes, controls and evaluates the technology program. Serves as the ISVI Webmaster and the school wide technology service coordinator. Plans, administers, organizes and provides training and implements the various facets of the technology program including vocational computer development needs, educational research, technology based grants/plans, school database automation, outreach, office automation, administration data, database management and monitoring. Serves as lead worker.
Minimum Requirements:Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to four years of college with course work in computer science or directly related fields. Requires extensive knowledge of Information Technology concepts and principles; theories and functions of computer systems; hardware, software, language and procedures to provide assigned technical and analytical services.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
