Role purpose
Provide leadership in development of critical business relationships related to the implementation of Agriedge Excelsior and its farm management and digital functions.
Lead the AgriEdge Excelsior program with growers to achieve sales, profit, and market share targets within the assigned territory. This will be accomplished by positioning the AgriEdge Excelsior program, developing relationships with growers and partners in the identified geography, and contributing to further development and expansion of AgriEdge programs. In addition provide critical information related o improved customer service for all parts of Prairieland FS.
Meet or ideally exceed sales and profitability targets and objectives:
Serve as AgriEdge business expert to Prairieland- Provides training, business planning, and technical support to enrolled growers, channel partners and key internal stakeholders on all AgriEdge Programs and offers
Partners with Crop Specialists, Sales Associates, and IT personnel to develop market opportunities with key growers currently doing business with Prairieland as well as prospects.
Actively engage with the agronomy staff to assist with their ability to connect with growers more effectively in delivering solutions in collaboration with Syngenta.
Create demand at the grower level, ensuring that both the grower and Prairieland are knowledgeable about all products and inputs.
Develop and cultivate strong rapport with key growers to become a trusted advisor for their business. This can be achieved by showing the value of the overall AEX platform by way of managing a tool to show profit/losses per acre on a field level. Risk Mitigation is also a key element in this process.
Develop a profound understanding of customer needs via consultative selling, recognized expertise, and trust with customers, within assigned market area.
Identify additional opportunities to grow revenue and share in crop markets; Regularly collect and report market intelligence and relevant value chain insights; articulate new and innovative ideas/strategy recommendations based on grower needs
Provide Farm Management leadership for AgriEdge farmer customers.
Analyze program data, develop value propositions, and manage exposure of risk management program
Ultimately take ownership in the Agriedge platform for Prairieland.
The role would be responsible for managing the setup and implementation of Land DB along with the needed support for the growers utilizing the software.
Responsible for accurately, efficiently, and effectively redeeming the risk management portion of the AEX offer.
Critical knowledge and experience required
4 year degree in Agriculture/ Marketing/Science
2 years of relevant experience, i. e. agronomy, farm, grain, financial or retail agricultural business.
Demonstrated ability to establish meaningful and impactful relationships with customers and internal colleagues through excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of basic agronomics, software implementation and navigation, agricultural technology and trends in economics of production agriculture.
Deep knowledge of precision agriculture at the grower level
Aptitude for digital farm solutions and information technology (both hardware and software)
Strong negotiating, analytical, problem solving/decision making skills
Ability to work independently; Strong planning, organization and time management
Awareness of new and existing technologies
Solid business acumen and ability to understand business financials and price/volume relationships
Other Requirements
Must have the ability to obtain a valid driver s license and satisfactory driving record.
Must be able to travel independently and overnight.
Must be able to work extended hours beyond those considered normal .

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
