We currently have an opportunity for a Production Unit Manager to join our team located at our manufacturing plant in Jacksonville, IL.

Your Role:

As an Operations Unit Manager, you will primarily be responsible for ensuring that safety, quality, productivity, cost, and customer service expectations are met by using your leadership skills to guide the employees. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop annual plant operating goals
  • Create and ensure a safe, team-oriented workplace
  • Recognize and develop employees' skills and capabilities

Ultimately, you will be a vitally important team leader and will keep the manufacturing plant safe by guaranteeing compliance with all policies.

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS in Engineering, Business, Operations or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional progressive experience in plant operations roles
  • Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office
  • Solid business acumen experience with a strong understanding of the productivity improvement initiatives, metrics, development and maintenance

Icing on the cake:

  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • Proficient in SAP or Oracle
  • Experience with Continuous Improvement Processes such as 5S, Value Streams, Six Sigma, or TPM

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
