Customer Support Specialist

Position Summary:

Computer Operator role includes acting as the Help Desk support, Print Shop duties and Switchboard coverage. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting and actively resolving end user help requests. Embodies the Memorial Health System Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Courtesy, Quality, and Efficiency that support our mission, vision and values.

Minimum Qualifications:


Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 2000 - 2012 Server.

Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Demonstrates pleasant personality.
  • Demonstrates competence in written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PC s, and printers and copiers.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Office environment with co-workers/public contact.
  • Talking and hearing are necessary to answer the telephone and communicate with staff and public.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
